S.M.A.R.T. Literacy Donations

Heather Kaufmann, Starbucks partner, presented books to Andrew Turner for the S.M.A.R.T. Family Literacy Project. Starbucks Coffee Store on Harborside and Kempner in Galveston collected books during a spring 2006 book drive. Ms. Kaufmann and other Starbucks partners volunteered as readers with the project, visiting schools, reading to children and giving them books.
The Junior League of Galveston County donated books to Elizabeth Turner for the S.M.A.R.T. Family Literacy Project.
